Practice Description: Ms. Hawkins’ practices a variety of litigation in state and federal court, including complex commercial litigation, business torts, insurance, banking and credit litigation, and personal injury defense. Her practice also includes representation of both creditors and debtors in all aspects of debtor-creditor relationships, including work out, litigation, and bankruptcy. In addition, her representation has included foreclosure and enforcement of creditors’ rights. She has assisted in the representation of banks and other financial institutions in commercial lending transactions and regulatory matters on a state and federal basis. Ms. Hawkins also has gained extensive experience in coverage issues on insurance claims as well as bank surety law related to letters of credit and enforcement of same.
