Mr. Farroll was selected as a member of the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Team in 1991 and 1992, and served as the Team’s Captain in 1992.
Mr. Farroll was one of the contributing authors to the team’s written brief in the 1992 Competition which earned the Dillard Award for the second best brief in the world and the Rutgers Award for the second best brief in the United States.
Mr. Farroll was also inducted into the Order of the Barristers, an Honor Society reserved for eight third-year law students who have demonstrated excellence in the art of courtroom advocacy. During his second and third years of Law School,
Mr. Farroll was also a member of the Southern Illinois University Law Journal, and served as Lead Articles Editor during his third year.
Mr. Farroll is licensed in both Illinois and Missouri and has experience in State and Federal Courts in the Bi-State area. He is a member of the Illinois State and American Bar Associations; The Missouri Bar; and the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel. His experience covers a range of personal injury and toxic tort litigation including Structural Work Act, medical malpractice, nursing home liability, products liability and general negligence law.
Mr. Farroll represented the interests of asbestos defense counsel in drafting and enacting a comprehensive set of Local Rules which now govern this area of complex litigation in Madison County, Illinois.
