Odom Co-Authors Article on Historical and Recent Personal Jurisdiction Developments
Greg Odom recently co-authored an article on personal jurisdiction for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC). The article, titled “The Supreme Court Takes on Personal Jurisdiction: What the Court’s Recent Opinions Tell Us About the Future of Personal Jurisdiction,” appeared in the recent edition of the IDC Quarterly. The article served as the Monograph, which is the Quarterly’s feature article.
Odom authored the sections addressing specific personal jurisdiction, which explored the history of specific jurisdiction in Illinois, recent United States Supreme Court opinions on specific jurisdiction, and the impact of the Supreme Court’s opinions on specific jurisdiction in Illinois.
