Young and Jacobi Publish Article on Insurance Coverage Issues

Michael Young and Katie Jacobi published an article recently that discussed the importance of claims professionals and outside counsel discussing a claim before a written coverage opinion is drafted. The article, which was published in CPCU’s Insights magazine, is available here.
Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He is a Certified Litigation Management Professional and has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. Young currently serves as Chair of the Insurance Law Committee for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) and is on the Insurance Law Committee of the Defense Research Institute.
Jacobi, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, also focuses her practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. She has been named a Rising Star by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers and an Emerging Lawyer by Illinois Leading Lawyers. In 2019, she received IDC’s Rising Star award. She is Vice-Chair of the association’s Young Lawyers Committee and an Assistant Editor of IDC Quarterly.
Both Young and Jacobi frequently write and lecture on issues related to insurance law.
