In an interesting twist on speed dating, The Defense Collaborative and The Midwest Claims Association hosted a “Speed Dating with Areas of the Law” event. The event consisted of round table discussions promoting collaborative learning, small discussions, and debates instead of classroom lecture and panel presentations. Ten topical tables were set up. Lawyer moderators remained at their tables throughout while attendees rotated from table to table. Bharat Varadachari was a speaker/moderator at the Commerical General Liability table.

Varadachari, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex business litigation, particularly matters related to the trucking and transportation industry throughout Missouri and Illinois. He is currently serving as Vice-President of the St. Louis Chapter of Claims & Litigation Management Alliance and is immediate Past President of The Lawyers Association of St. Louis. He is also on the Executive Committee for the St. Louis County Bar Association and has been named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.
