Michael Young and Katie Jacobi are scheduled to present sessions at two upcoming CLM (Claims and Litigation Management Alliance) events. Jacobi will be in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, on March 19 to discuss evaluating additional insured coverage and contractual indemnity issues. She and Young will discuss the impact of Missouri’s reformed 537.065 statute, which now grants liability insurers a right to intervene in certain suits, at a St. Louis CLM Chapter meeting on March 29.
Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He is a Certified Litigation Management Professional and has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. Young currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Insurance Law Committee for the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) and is on the Insurance Law Committee of the Defense Research Institute.
Jacobi, an associate in the Chicago office, also focuses her practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation, with experience in both first- and third-party matters. A 2011 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law, she has been on the list of Rising Stars published by Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers since 2015. She currently serves on the Insurance Law Committee of IDC.
