Young to Speak on Insurance Claims Documentation
Michael Young will be one of the featured speakers at the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ Claims Documentation webinar. In his session, Young will provide tips and suggestions for how an insurance company can accurately and properly document its internal claim notes. He will also discuss documenting external communications such as reservation of rights letters. The webinar will be particularly relevant for claims professionals, supervisors, and in-house counsel. Young, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith issues. He also advises insurers on drafting policy language and developing best practices in handling claims. He is a Certified Litigation Management Professional and currently serves on the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance’s Insurance Coverage and Extra-Contractual Committees, as well as on the Legislative Committee for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers. Young has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America. He is licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Seventh and Eighth Circuits, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois.
