Missouri Government Actions on COVID-19 – Updated 4/27/2020

Today’s update discusses:

  • rise in number of COVID-19 cases
  • areas of the state beginning to re-open businesses

ECONOMY

As the statewide stay-at-home order is set to expire on May 4, 2020, areas of the state are working on reopening. Despite health officials reporting on Sunday nearly 7,000 COVID-19 cases within the state, Franklin County allowed several facilities to reopen so long as they adhere to social distancing guidelines. Additionally, some businesses near St. Louis have also been given the green light to reopen so long as safety measures are in place. The St. Louis Metropolitan Pandemic Task Force has been providing criteria that businesses must meet before they are able to fully reopen next week.
