Magee, Hamilton, and Fowler Join HeplerBroom

Thomas J. Magee has joined HeplerBroom LLC in the St. Louis office as a partner. Kathleen Schlef Hamilton and Meg L. Fowler have joined the firm as associates. Mr. Magee was formerly a partner in the General Trial Litigation group at Moser & Marsalek, P.C.

Mr. Magee is a trial attorney. He has tried 135 jury trials to verdict. He has significant experience in heavy defense litigation and has represented clients in all types of litigation including products liability, professional liability, commercial litigation, general personal injury, trucking and securities cases. Magee is a 1985 graduate of St. Louis University School of Law, cum laude. Magee is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has been listed with Americas Best Lawyers since 2007. He was named top 100 Missouri Kansas Super Lawyers and top 50 in St. Louis in 2008 and 2009.

Ms. Hamilton concentrates her practice in insurance defense and litigation. She has represented clients in matters before state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois and has tried cases to conclusion as both lead and assistant counsel. Hamilton is a 2002 graduate from the University of Missouri School of Law. She was a law clerk the Missouri Court of Appeals.

Ms. Fowler concentrates her practice in insurance defense and litigation. Fowler has tried several jury trials, acting as both lead and assistant counsel. She has successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit and the Missouri Court of Appeals. Fowler is a St. Louis University School of Law graduate. She was a law clerk for the Missouri Court of Appeals.
