Amy Johnson will be a featured speaker at DRI’s Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute. Johnson and Rick Hammond will explore the issues and impact of public pressure and government actions on insurers when catastrophes such as civil unrest and pandemics occur. Their discussion will include strategies on how insurance carriers can ensure that claims are adjusted and fairly paid. More information about the Institute, which is being held in Chicago July 22-24, is available here.

Johnson, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses her practice on insurance law, risk transfer, and property damage, as well as cybersecurity and appellate law. She has 20 years of experience mitigating risk on coverage issues and high exposure or bad faith claims, including a successful appeal record.

HeplerBroom is pleased to announce that its physical offices have reopened. While the health and safety of our clients, employees, and families, remain our top priority, HeplerBroom attorneys and staff are returning to our offices on full-time or modified schedules. Our offices are open to visitors and clients with scheduled appointments, with appropriate screening of visitors and social-distancing protocols.
