Wagener Spoke to Nursing Students about Legal Considerations of the Profession

Susan Wagener was a guest lecturer for third-year nursing students at the University of Illinois Chicago. She discussed professional license discipline issues. Daniel Fraczkowski, current president of the Illinois chapter of the American Nursing Association, was also a guest lecturer at the event.

As a former Registered Nurse, Wagener is frequently asked to speak to nurses on their legal obligations and rights. She also regularly presents and publishes on topics related to malpractice risk management and the defense of disciplinary matters. A partner in the firm’s Chicago office,  she focuses her legal practice on the defense of health care professional licensure cases, medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, and general healthcare law matters. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin and is admitted to the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the Illinois Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
