Practice Description

Annie E. Bode has extensive experience handling toxic tort, product liability, wrongful death/personal injury, and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout Illinois and Missouri. She has litigated cases on behalf of individuals and corporations, including manufacturers, retailers, premises owners, construction contractors, and healthcare and other professional service providers.

Prior to attending law school, she worked as a scientific research assistant at a renowned independent, not-for-profit biomedical research facility. Specializing in the behavioral component, she worked with other scientists on long-term, federally funded projects using non-human primate models to investigate the genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors that contribute to temperament/mental health, stress, social functioning, and maternal behavior.

As an undergraduate, Ms. Bode double majored in biology and economics. This background is particularly useful in understanding and analyzing both the potential medical and monetary damages of litigation.
