On November 5, Michael Murphy and Jennifer Martin will be among the featured speakers at a water laws and regulations seminar in Naperville, Illinois. Murphy will discuss Illinois’ time-limited water quality standards. Martin will be discussing ethical issues in dealing with Illinois water laws and regulations.

Murphy, a partner in the firm’s Springfield office, focuses his practice on environmental law at both the state and federal levels. He has been named to the lists of Emerging Lawyers by Illinois Leading Lawyers, Rising Stars by Illinois Super Lawyers, and 40 Business Leaders Under Forty by the Springfield Business Journal.

Martin is also a partner in the firm’s Springfield office and focuses her practice on environmental law and real estate. Prior to entering private practice, she was an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Control Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. She has been named an Illinois Leading Lawyer and speaks and writes regularly on environmental law.
