Alec Messina, LaDonna Driver, and Melissa Brown will be among the featured speakers at a seminar on air permitting in Illinois. Messina will discuss current legislative efforts to draft a new energy omnibus package that’s likely to include new emissions requirements and energy incentives for battery storage, nuclear energy, and energy efficiency. Driver and Brown will be on a panel with Trinity Consultants answering questions on air permitting. Anticipated topics for the panel include challenges that occur with delays in processing air permits and potential solutions to those challenges.
Hosted by the Illinois Environmental Regulatory Group (IERG), the 2025 Air Seminar will be held August 27 at Crowne Plaza in Springfield. More information is available on IERG’s website. (HeplerBroom is proud to be a sponsor of the event.)
