Murphy Featured Speaker at State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Conference
Michael Murphy will be among the featured speakers at the Illinois State Bar Association’s (ISBA) 23rd annual Environmental Law Conference, which is being held in Chicago on May 22 and May 23. In addition to moderating a panel discussing the regulation and challenges of microplastics and other emerging contaminants, Murphy is co-coordinator of the two-day conference. Murphy, a partner in the firm’s Springfield office, is an experienced litigator who focuses on helping clients with environmental issues, both before and after a lawsuit is filed. He has been named an Illinois Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Chemical Industry Council of Illinois and the Chatham (IL) Area Chamber of Commerce, and is Vice-Chair of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resource Law Section Council.
