HB Elects Seven New Partners

Douglas Bieller, David Deterding, James DuChateau, Kelly Libbra, Daniel Lytle, Gregory Odom, and Joshua Schumacher have been elected partners of HeplerBroom LLC. Bieller and Deterding practice in the firm’s St. Louis office, DuChateau is based in the Chicago office, and Libbra, Lytle, Odom, and Schumacher all practice in the Edwardsville office.

Mr. Bieller concentrates his law practice in toxic tort, product liability, and construction litigation. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. Bieller received his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University in 2006.

Mr. Deterding focuses his practice in the areas of labor and employment law, commercial litigation, and appellate matters. He is licensed to practice in Illinois; Missouri; the United States District Courts for the Western District of Missouri, Southern District of Illinois, and Eastern District of Missouri; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Deterding received his Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in 2008.

Mr. DuChateau concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial and insurance coverage litigation. He is licensed to practice in the Supreme Court of Illinois and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Missouri, the Southern District of Indiana, the Eastern District of Wisconsin, and the District of Colorado. He earned his Juris Doctor from the John Marshall Law School in 2008.

Ms. Libbra’s practice focuses on trials involving complex business litigation matters, including toxic torts and product liability. She is licensed in Illinois and Missouri and earned her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law in 2003.

Mr. Lytle focuses his practice on trials involving complex litigation matters, including personal injury/wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, insurance, public utilities, and commercial litigation. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, and the United States. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. Lytle earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2007.

Mr. Odom concentrates his practice on trials involving complex business litigation matters, including toxic torts, personal injury, product liability, premises liability, environmental Law, and commercial litigation. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, and the United States. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois and the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri. Odom received his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2008.

Mr. Schmucher's practice focuses on toxic tort, commercial, pharmaceutical, financial, class action, and products liability matters. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Pennsylvania, and the U. S. District Courts for the Southern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Eastern District of Wisconsin. Schumacher earned his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University in 2005.
