Partner Glenn Davis to Lead Formation of Missouri Bar Antitrust Law Committee

St. Louis Partner Glenn E. Davis has been appointed by the President of the Missouri Bar Association to lead formation of the Missouri Bar’s Antitrust Law Committee. The Committee will promote professional development for lawyers and education for the public on important antitrust laws and emerging developments affecting businesses and consumers.

Davis said, “There is great uncertainty with the change in administrations in Washington and an increasing focus on state enforcement of antitrust laws. This is a great time for the Bar to promote awareness of the importance of federal, state, and international antitrust laws. While some predict a thaw on challenges to business arrangements, there will be an increasing and coordinated effort to step up application of state antitrust laws and continuing federal criminal enforcement on national and international cartels. I look forward to working with lawyers across the state to promote awareness, help the business community avoid the traps, and help those victimized by violations to secure appropriate redress.”

Davis has successfully served clients with challenging, complex legal matters for over 30 years regionally, nationally, and internationally. He was named Lawyer of the Year in Antitrust Law by Best Lawyers in America in 2015 and Lawyer of the Year in Antitrust Litigation by Best Lawyers in 2016. He has deep experience with antitrust and distribution matters in a broad range of contexts.
