Hamilton Appointed to Commission by Missouri Supreme Court

Kathleen Hamilton has been appointed by the Missouri Supreme Court to the Joint Commission on Women in the Profession. The 20-member Commission is a joint venture of the Missouri Supreme Court and The Missouri Bar. It is charged with assessing the status of women in the legal profession, identifying barriers to their advancement, combating bias in both the justice system and the legal profession, and securing full and equal participation of women in the profession. Members are selected by the Court and the bar.

Hamilton, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses her practice on general trial litigation and insurance defense. She has also successfully handled numerous appellate cases. She earned her J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law in 2002 and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and English from the University of Notre Dame. Hamilton is a member of the American Bar Association and the state bar associations of Illinois and Missouri. She speaks and writes regularly on numerous legal topics.
