HUMAN RESOURCES

  • In an effort to respond to employers’ concerns revolving around COVID-19, Illinois Manufacturers’ Association is planning an online webinar on how employers can respond to COVID-19 on March 31, 2020, at 11:00 AM CST. This webinar will focus on strategies employers can implement to prevent workplace exposures while complying with Federal and State level labor employment laws, OSHA’s guidance about preventing workers from exposure to COVID-19 and related regulatory risks, and frequently asked questions for employers with guidance from the CDC.

A public emergency such as the one we are experiencing with COVID-19 is unlike anything any of us has ever experienced. In an effort to continue to keep citizens safe, Illinois has also worked to keep many businesses and services running. Like many, HeplerBroom attorneys are diligently working from their homes to keep both clients and the community at large updated as to executive, legislative, and regulatory actions in the midst of COVID-19.
