First-year associate attorney Andrew Gilkerson earned the Top Student award at the 26^th annual John L. Oliver, Jr., Trial Academy. During the three-day Academy, 32 associate attorneys with one to five years of experience were chosen to act as defense counsel for a civil trial. The program includes demonstrations and lectures by veteran attorney faculty members.

Gilkerson, an associate in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving the defense of complex litigation matters, including product liability, commercial litigation, personal injury, and medical and dental malpractice. He received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2021. He also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Rockhurst University. While in law school he was a Dean’s Select Scholar, was on the Dean’s List, and received several Academic Excellence Awards. He was also a member of the Business Law Association, The Federalist Society, and the Tax Club. Gilkerson is licensed to practice in Missouri.
