Magee and Noce Named to Elite List of Powerful Defense Attorneys
Thomas Magee and Gerard “Jerry” Noce have been named to the most recent list of Missouri Lawyers Media’s list of Missouri’s 30 most powerful defense attorneys.
The attorneys on the Power List defend businesses and corporations in court. In compiling their list, Missouri Lawyers Media interviewed attorneys around the state, reviewed records of verdicts and settlements, and consulted their own archives.
Magee, a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office, focuses his practice on trials involving complex litigation, including product liability, personal injury, professional liability, and trucking & transportation matters. He has tried over 170 jury trials to verdict, including matters in United States District Courts and the state courts of Missouri and Illinois. He has been chosen as a Fellow in the highly selective American College of Trial Lawyers, and is a past recipient of the Missouri Lawyer Award from Missouri Lawyers Weekly for being the defense attorney with the most reported verdicts/judgments. Magee’s numerous other honors include being named an AV Preeminent Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, a multi-year recipient of St. Louis Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America, a Best Lawyer in St. Louis by St. Louis Magazine, and a Top 50 and Top 100 Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyer.
Noce is also a partner in the firm’s St. Louis office and focuses his practice on trials involving the defense of complex legal malpractice, clergy misconduct, school law, and products liability matters. He is rated an AV Preeminent (Judicial Edition) Attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been chosen as a Fellow in the highly selective American College of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Noce is a recipient of both the Ben Ely Jr. Defense Lawyers Award from the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers and the Award of Honor from the Lawyer’s Association of St. Louis. In addition, he has been a named a St. Louis Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers in America and has been named to the list of Top 50 St. Louis Super Lawyers in multiple years.
