Chicago Office Adds Two Associate Attorneys

HeplerBroom is pleased to announce that Katie Fulara Vinge and Jaime L. Padgett have joined the firm as associate attorneys.

Vinge concentrates her practice on civil litigation, with a focus on construction injury and defect as well as professional liability cases. She has experience defending corporations and individuals in complex civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. A 2008 graduate of The John Marshall Law School, she took part in the European Union Law Program in the Czech Republic. Vinge is licensed to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Padgett focuses her practice on complex civil litigation matters, including the defense of catastrophic bodily injury claims in construction, trucking, and premises liability cases. In addition to litigation defense, she also advises clients on contract and commercial matters faced regularly by corporate clients. She is a 2011 graduate of Notre Dame Law School, where she was selected as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law, Ethics, and Public Policy. She is licensed to practice in Illinois and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin, and Eastern District of Wisconsin Bankruptcy Court. Padgett was named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2017 and 2018.
