Former Public Defender Joins HeplerBroom as Associate
Sara Bozarth has joined HeplerBroom as an associate attorney in the firm’s Edwardsville office. Bozarth focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation matters including toxic torts, premises and products liability, personal injury, and wrongful death. She also has extensive experience with criminal defense and child law, focusing on juvenile delinquency and DCFS investigation defense.
Bozarth obtained her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2015. She also holds a B.S. in Psychology from SIU-E. While in law school, she worked as a Licensed 711 Intern and was a Public Interest Legal Intern for The Bail Project. She also worked with Bridges Community Support Services, where she helped re-integrate clients back into the community after long-term psychiatric commitment.
Prior to joining HeplerBroom, Ms. Bozarth worked as a Madison County Public Defender. In that role, she represented adults and children in a wide range of criminal, juvenile, and DCFS cases.
Bozarth is licensed to practice in Illinois and Missouri.
