HeplerBroom welcomes second-year law students Ahmad Al-Kurdi, Francesca Butler, and Sadie Embser to its 2025 Class of Summer Associates. Al-Kurdi is attending Washington University in St. Louis, Butler is a student at St. Louis University, and Embser is at University of Illinois Chicago.

HB’s 12-week Summer Associate Program introduces select law students to the firm’s legal practice, business model, and culture. Each associate is assigned an attorney mentor and rotates through different practice areas of the firm, giving participants the opportunity to experience a variety of diverse, interesting, and challenging real-world legal issues. The firm also sponsors social events for the associates throughout the summer.
