On August 7, 2015, after more than a three week trial, a 12-member jury in St. Clair County, Illinois unanimously found in favor of pharmaceutical device manufacturer Zimmer Holdings Inc. in a product liability action.  To read the Law 360 article about the case, click here.

HeplerBroom partner Troy Bozarth, associate attorney Elizabeth Kellett, and paralegal Anastasia Fears, along with other counsel, secured the win for HeplerBroom’s client Zimmer Holdings Inc.  The plaintiff was implanted with a Durom hip and claimed that the implant failed, which required him to undergo correctional surgery.  The HeplerBroom trial team helped to secure a similar victory for Zimmer Holdings Inc. in November 2014.
