LaDonna Driver concentrates her practice in the area of environmental law, providing compliance counseling in matters concerning federal, state, and local statutes and associated regulations dealing with air, land, and water issues.
Ms. Driver advises the firm's clients on developments in environmental statutes and regulations and assists clients in analyzing and responding to the impacts of changes in environmental requirements. This representation extends to participation in proceedings for promulgation of regulations, challenges to regulations, and actions for regulatory relief.
She represents clients in all phases of environmental permitting, with particular emphasis in air issues. She assists regulated entities in preparing permit applications and negotiating permit terms and conditions with the permitting agency. She also consults with clients in their implementation of permit and regulatory requirements and represents clients in environmental permit appeals and in enforcement proceedings. In addition, she assists clients with pre-enforcement investigations.
Ms. Driver counsels clients in environmental matters involving business transactions, facilitating permit transfers, and notification to environmental regulators. She also assists industrial facilities in emissions trading.
She was previously a partner with the environmental law firm Hodge, Dwyer & Driver. In 2016 that firm was merged into HeplerBroom.

Ms. Driver has conducted numerous presentations regarding state and federal environmental legislative and regulatory developments and impacts, as well as strategies for preparing for new environmental laws and regulations. She has also conducted several presentations on air permitting, compliance, and enforcement considerations regarding air requirements.
