Overview
Andres Garcia-Rivera uses his research skills and ability to navigate novel and layered legal issues to defend clients in complex litigation involving construction and premises liability, municipal and §1983 claims, and toxic tort matters. Clients rely on him for his ability to cut through complexity and provide clear, strategic guidance when the stakes are high.
Garcia-Rivera brings both precision and practicality to each case. Clients and colleagues describe him as a thoughtful and steady presence—collaborative, responsive, and solution-oriented.
He was inspired to pursue a legal career by his grandfather’s tireless advocacy in helping veterans navigate the legal system. That early example continues to shape his approach today: a deep commitment to helping people move forward with clarity and confidence.
Outside of his practice, Garcia-Rivera enjoys running along the lakefront, exploring Chicago’s food scene, and giving back through volunteer work. He is fluent in Spanish and actively supports efforts to make legal services more accessible to underrepresented communities.
