Overview
Andrea M. Quade specializes in environmental law practice. She assists clients with a variety of environmental issues, including:
- counseling them on environmental compliance issues involving both federal and state statutes and regulations on matters related to air, water, and land regulation
- offering advice on changes to environmental statutes and regulations
- representing them in rulemaking proceedings, challenges to regulations, and proceedings for regulatory relief
- assisting with environmental permitting
- defending against environmental litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including the Illinois Pollution Control Board
Previously, Quade was a staff attorney for the Illinois Legislative Reference Bureau, where she worked with legislators on drafting and editing a broad range of bills being proposed to the Illinois General Assembly. In addition, she specifically drafted and reviewed legislation regulating utilities, professions and occupations, and gaming.
While in law school, she held a number of legal intern positions, including judicial internships with The Honorable Ann Walsh Bradley of the Wisconsin Supreme Court and The Honorable Chad Miller of the Colorado Fourth Judicial Branch.
