Troy A. Bozarth of HeplerBroom, LLC in Edwardsville was installed as President of the Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel (IDC) at the organization’s 51st Annual Meeting, held June 26, 2015.

Mr. Bozarth has served as a member of the IDC Executive Committee for the past four years and previously served as a member of the organization’s Board of Directors.

Mr. Bozarth’s experience covers trial practice and complex commercial litigation. His practice areas include insurance defense, Jones Act and maritime law, antitrust law, class action and other commercial cases. Mr. Bozarth is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association, The Bar Association of the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois and the Defense Research Institute.

The Illinois Association of Defense Trial Counsel was organized in 1964 and has more than 1,000 members. The mission of the IDC is to ensure civil justice with integrity, civility and professional competence.
