James A. Larson has joined HeplerBroom as an Attorney of Counsel in the firm’s Chicago office. Larson is an accomplished real estate and commercial litigation attorney. He focuses his real estate practice in the areas of property development, sales/acquisitions, leasing, title insurance defense, and other real estate litigation. He also maintains an extensive lender services practice focused on foreclosures, evictions, REO closings, bankruptcy, lender liability, and real estate litigation involving municipalities.

Larson obtained his J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1987. He also holds a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Iowa State University. He is licensed to practice in Illinois and Wisconsin and is admitted to the bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Central, and Southern Districts of Illinois.
